The School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London is pleased to announce its second conference on Economics and Finance Education and Scholarship. It will be held on Friday 10 November 2023, 9:00 – 11:59 via a hybrid format.
The conference will host:
- The launch of the newly established Centre for Education and Scholarship Research in Economics, Finance and Business Management
- The 4th workshop on Teaching with Historical Perspectives.
The Education and Scholarship research group invites proposals for presentations and/or panel discussions from academics, researchers and PhD students on the different aspects of teaching and learning. Submissions must be received by 31 October 2023.
Possible topics might be related to how to improve equality and diversity in the teaching of Economics and Finance, analysis of attainments and awarding gaps, or curriculum development exercises.
Presentations should demonstrate innovative pedagogy, new technology, curriculum development, equality and diversity analysis or other ways to improve Economics and/or Finance education at any level of higher education (undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate).
