The Royal Economic Society’s strategy for 2019-2023 identified “Improving Diversity” as a strategic priority. The Society has a responsibility to promote and facilitate the creation of a more inclusive culture in the discipline that can increase participation from under-represented groups.
Through its activities, the Society can reach a large number of economists and influence the views and actions of academic and professional economists, to enact the changes needed. The Royal Economic Society’s Diversity Hub brings together this work and the work supported by the Society to achieve this goal.
If you would like to get involved with our diversity work, you can contact our Diversity Champion Stefania Paredes Fuentes (s.paredes-fuentes@warwick.ac.uk).
