The Royal Economic Society has launched its Council Members Election with votes closing on 28 March 2022 at 5pm. If you are a member, please cast your vote.

Council members have an important role in the governance of the RES, including setting our strategic direction. They bring valuable perspectives and contributions to our activities and are the voice of our members, so please help the Society by casting your vote. The margin of success in the election is often very small, so every vote matters.

Council elections are for a five-year term.  At least two of the six places on Council this year are reserved for non-academics. You can vote for up to 6 candidates from a total of 12 candidates.

This year we are again working with an independent partner, UK-Engage, to manage the election process. If you are a member, you will be receiving an e-mail with a link to the voting website where you may then cast your vote, so please keep an eye for an e-mail from UK-Engage.

Announcements of the results will go onto the RES website.
