RES2012: Hahn lecture (Nancy Stokey)

Nancy L. Stokey is the Frederick Henry Prince Professor of Economics, University of Chicago. She has served as co-editor of Econometrica and The Journal of Political Economy, and as vice-president of the American Economic Association. An expert on recursive macroeconomic theory, her work has synthesized the methodology used in much of modern dynamic economic modelling. Her recent work on economic growth focuses on the role of education in facilitating the transfer of new technologies to developing countries. She is a member of the National Academy of Sciences.
