Videos of The Econometrics Journal‘s events at the Society’s 2022 Annual Conference are now available at the journal’s web pages.

These include the journal’s Special Session on The New Difference-in-Differences, chaired by Victor Chernozhukov, with presentations by Xavier D’Haultfœuille (CREST-ENSAE) on “Two-way fixed effects and differences-in-differences with heterogeneous treatment effects: A survey” (https://doi.org/10.1093/ectj/utac017; joint with Clément de Chaisemartin) and by Jeffrey Wooldridge (Michigan State University) on “Simple approaches to nonlinear difference-in-differences with panel data”.

There is also a video of Serena Ng’s (Columbia) Sargan Lecture on “Imputing weekly values of monthly economic indicators: a matrix completion approach”. Jaap Abbring chaired this lecture, Tobias Klein moderated its Q&A, and Dennis Kristensen presented the 2020 Denis Sargan Econometrics Prize to Neng-Chieh Chang (UCLA) and the 2021 Denis Sargan Econometrics Prize to Xuewen Yu (Purdue).
