In the last month, the Royal Economic Society has published two new videos on our work to promote diversity in the field.
In the first video, Prof Almudena Sevilla outlines the work of the Women’s Committee and her work as committee chair. The Women’s Committee works to promote the status of women in economics by identifying and removing barriers to progress and seeks to tackle the causes of their under-representation in economics.
In the second video Assoc Prof Stefania Paredes Fuentes discusses her work as RES Diversity Champion. As a RES co-opted trustee, Stefania helps ensure that diversity and inclusion considerations are an integral part of the trustee board’s discussions and decisions.
