The Royal Economic Society quarterly newsletter for October, issue 199, has now been published, entitled ‘Rethink: Is economic policy advice moving left?’.

The October issue of the newsletter includes a ‘Letter from America’ from Daron Acemoglu, an article on labour economics and progressive politics by Alan Manning, an examination from Howard Smith on how competition policy might change, profiles of Sir Partha Dasgupta and Claudia Goldin and Derek Headey and Kalle Hirvonen on new challenges for the world food system.
