The Royal Economic Society quarterly newsletter for July, issue 198, has now been published, entitled ‘Conference calling’.

This issue looks at the RES 2022 Annual Conference. The July issue of the newsletter includes ‘Letter from Germany’ from Michael Burda, the RES conference report by Soumaya Keynes, a profile on RES past president Tim Besley, an interview with Jagjit Chadha (NIESR) on central banking, an article on women’s experiences of discrimination in finance, an obituary for the economist Dick Sargent and more.
