Following our recent Annual General Meeting, the Royal Economic Society has appointed Prof Imran Rasul (UCL) as RES President, and Prof Tony Venables (Oxford) as RES President-Elect for the year 2025- 2026. In addition, Prof Diane Coyle (Cambridge) has been appointed as the RES President Elect for the following year (2026 – 2027).
The AGM also ratified the appointment of six new Council members who will serve from May 2025 to May 2030:
