RES 2022 Annual Conference

Monday 3 April - Wednesday 5 April

The RES 2022 Annual Conference took place virtually Monday 11 April to Wednesday 13 April 2022.  The Annual Conference is our flagship event bringing together hundreds of academic and professional economists to present the latest developments in economics and showcase their real-world application.

Conference programme

You can view the full Conference programme here. The programme includes an engaging selection of special and general sessions, 3 lunchtime chats, an evening panel delivered by the University of Warwick and 4 keynotes.  To enhance your conference experience and to provide an opportunity for in-person networking, the RES will be supporting three in-person hub events, these are free to attend for conference delegates, for more information, please see below.

Membership benefits 

Before registering, you might like to consider becoming a member of the RES.  When taking advantage of the Early Bird rate (ending 28 February) members will receive over 50% off the full conference ticket price.  After the event, members will be able to access videos and recordings from Conference.

The RES Annual Conference is open to accredited representatives of print, broadcast and electronic media who are intending to actively report on the Annual Conference.  Please see our media policy for further details on how to apply for a media pass.

 

By submitting a paper to the RES Annual Conference you consent to the RES securely holding details of your submission to the conference for a period of no longer than 24 months for the purposes of analysing submissions. You understand submission details will only be passed to members of the Programme Committee for the purposes of processing the submissions for acceptance onto the RES Annual Conference.

As this is an open scientific conference, all accepted papers will be available in the public domain by default. You will however, be able to update your submission with a more recent version of your paper for submission made through ConferenceMaker.

Any personal data which may be submitted as part of the submission and selection procedure, will be processed by RES in accordance with any applicable data protection legislation, and RES Privacy Notice. You can stop the processing of your data at any time by emailing events@res.org.uk requesting that your submission be withdrawn.

The Royal Economic Society will be filming large parts of the Conference for wider dissemination. It is presumed that those attending the RES Conference have no objection to being included in footage of the Conference. Any attendee who explicitly wishes not to be included in any broadcast film should contact the RES organisers during the Conference. We will then seek to edit film footage accordingly.
