RES 2022 Annual Conference: The Econometrics Journal Special Session

The RES 2022 Annual Conference will be holding a special session by The Econometrics Journal on 12 April, 15:00-16:30pm with the topic of ‘The New Difference-in-Differences’.

This event will be chaired by the Co-editor of The Econometrics Journal and Professor of Economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Professor Victor Chernozhukov, accompanied by some amazing speakers who will be presenting their research papers.

Below are the speakers and research topics that will be discussed:

  • Xavier D’Haultfœuille (CREST-ENSAE): “Two-way fixed effects and differences-in-differences with heterogeneous treatment effects: A survey” (joint with Clément de Chaisemartin, Sciences Po)
  • Jeffrey Wooldridge (Michigan State University):  “Simple approaches to nonlinear difference-in-differences with panel data”
