RES 2022 Annual Conference: Expanding Networks through Lunchtime Chats

The Royal Economic Society 2022 Annual Conference will be holding lunchtime chat sessions to create a more interactive virtual networking experience.

This year’s conference welcomes a lunchtime chat for attendees to mingle and intereact with one another within a more casual environment. This session allows participants to converse between peers and build greater network.

The 2022 Annual Conference is hoping to encourage this interaction by providing a set of discussion topics brought by skillful speakers within the field.

Below is a list of the lunchtime discussions:

  • 11 April, 12:30PM – 13:15PM: Professor Diane Coyle in conversation with Professor Sir Partha Dasgupta – The economics of biodiversity
  • 12 April, 12:30PM – 13:15PM: Ashwini Deshpande, Ashoka University; Justin Yifu Lin, Peking University; Leonard Wantchekon, Princeton University – Towards a more inclusive economics
  • 13 April, 12:30PM – 13:15PM:  Dirk Bergemann, Yale University and Noam Yuchtman, London School of Economics – Platforms, machine learning and privacy
