Society members are invited to propose names for both the RES Council (for the period April 2020-2025) and the next President-Elect (for term starting April 2020, then President 2021-2022).

Any member of the Society who would like to make a nomination should email the Secretary General at RESoffice@res.org.uk as soon as possible, and at the latest by 6th September 2019.

When making a nomination, please provide your name, the nominee’s name and their affiliation, together with either their CV summary or a link to their online CV. Self-nominations are welcome for possible Council membership.

You can view the current Council membership and list of former Presidents on the RES website.

The Society’s Nominations Committee will meet in September 2019 to consider all nominations received. From these, the Committee will agree a list of twelve names for the Council Elections. This list will then be subject to a ballot of all members of the Society early in 2020 in order to elect six new members of Council.

The Nominations Committee will also agree a Presidential nomination which will be presented to the Council Meeting in October 2019. The successful candidates will join Council and be ratified as President-Elect after formal adoption at the AGM, held during the 2020 RES Annual Conference in Belfast.

If you require any further details please contact the RES Office (RESoffice@res.org.uk).
