High-fliers have more babies says EJ study

Since the turn of the millennium, highly educated women in the United States have had higher fertility rates than women with intermediate levels of education, according to a study by Moshe Hazan and Hosny Zoabi, which is forthcoming in the Economic Journal. The research was reported in the Observer newspaper last weekend and has subsequently received a great deal of media coverage. Here are some of the pieces:
