The Government Economic Service (GES) Sandwich Student Placement 2023-24 scheme is open for applications and closes on Monday 24 October 2022 (11:55am).
The GES Sandwich Student Placement scheme is open to economic students considering a career as a professional economist in the Government Economic Service after graduation. The scheme is open to students in their penultimate year, doing a degree which compromises at least 50% economics and are on track for a 2:1 or 1st based on their first-year results.
The GES sandwich placement year offers an exciting opportunity to apply economic knowledge to real-world problems and develop your analytical skills whilst working on some of society’s most pressing issues. The scheme also comes with a guaranteed interview for our graduate schemes.
