The Royal Economic Society (RES) and Frontier Economics celebrated the beginning of their strategic partnership for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) at the latest RES Diversity & Inclusion Network event, hosted by Ofcom on 6 May.
The event included a panel discussion on intersectionalities, which was followed by four facilitated breakout sessions. The forum provided a platform for a meaningful exchange of ideas, showcasing the aligned values and shared vision between the two institutions.
“We are delighted that this partnership is already demonstrating the solidarity of thought between our two organisations and reflects our shared values and vision for the future of economics,” said Polly Boardman, Head of Learning and Development at Frontier Economics. “It is clear that RES is as committed to improving equity, diversity and inclusion in the profession as we are at Frontier.”
By combining resources, expertise, ideas and enthusiasm, we are better positioned to address challenges to diversity and inclusion in economics more effectively.
