ExploreEcon 2016 – UCL Economics hosts its second annual undergraduate research conference, Explore Econ, on March 16, 2016. This conference showcases independent work done by students in all three years of the undergraduate programme, much of it outside of the curriculum. Last year, topics included access to credit for women entrepreneurs, the effect of exchange rate fluctuations on local labour markets, and predicting election results. Twelve students presented their work, while another five displayed their research in the form of posters. First year students were also represented through a multimedia project. Among the highlights for this year are a larger poster and multimedia section, and the presence of Sharon White as keynote speaker.

Programme:
2pm: Students'' presentations and posters
6pm: Keynote Speech by Sharon White, UCL Alumni and OfCom Chief Executive
7pm: Awards Ceremony and Reception in the North Cloisters
