Subsidies for PhD students

The Qatar Centre for Global Banking and Finance are delighted to be able to offer transport subsidies to economics/finance PhD students to allow them to attend and learn from the presentations (with discussions), posters, keynotes and panels that will be taking place.

They have reserved space for 40 students studying at UK institutions, and are prepared to pay for/subsidize economy transport up to £100 (covering in total, both days, though students aren’t obliged to come for both). They would require receipts to be provided.

Those interested would need to register here as attendees (delegates) and email qcgbfevents@kcl.ac.uk with the words QCGBF Conference PhD Travel Subsidy in the subject line. Reimbursement will occur after the event, and further guidance will be provided at a later stage. They will inform the students by 30 June if they have secured one of the places or put on a waitlist (based on a first come first served policy).
