Conference Poster Session

Poster Sessions were introduced in 2024 and were a resounding success, the calibre of posters and the overall atmosphere during the event made it a not to be missed element of the first day of conference. In 2026 we will once again host a Poster Session during Monday evening’s Welcome Reception.

Those presenting posters have the unique opportunity to present work to the entire conference delegation within the 1 hour 30 minute event, the longest presentation slot available at Conference. Poster applications open in October 2025 and close on 13 April 2026.

October: Poster applications open via our abstract management platform (Oxford Abstracts)

31 March 2026: Deadline for Scholars Fund applications

13 April 2026: Deadline for Poster applications

22 May 2026: All posters presenters must book to attend the conference by this date.

  • To submit a poster, please visit our submissions page
  • Any PhD Students submitting a poster can also apply for the RES Scholars Fund 
  • Presenters must be booked to attend the RES conference 
  • Posters must be printed in advance and brought along to the conference on Monday 6 July. The RES is not responsible for printing or displaying posters
  • Posters can be printed in any medium but they must be A1 in size
  • Posters can be portrait or landscape
  • The more interesting the poster looks, the more interest it will garner from delegates.
