This letter agreement (the agreement) confirms the terms on which you agree to allow the Royal Economic Society, registered charity with company number RC000472, Registered Charity Number 231508 (Scottish Charity Number SC043245) whose principal place of business is at The Royal Economic Society, 2 Dean Trench Street, Westminster, London, SW1P 3HE (the Society) to use, for the purposes set out below, the media created or presented by me at the Event and to use the media, including name, likeness and footage (Media).

Pursuant to and in consideration of the mutual obligations given hereunder, you confirm as set out hereunder.

1. You grant the Society permission to record and share both online and offline the Media (Specified Activities) in the United Kingdom for educational and promotional purposes of the Society (Specified Purpose).
2. You have the right to withdraw the consent you have given at any time by writing to the Society at media@res.org.uk. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out by the Company before you withdraw my consent.
3. The Society hereby agrees to and you acknowledge that the Society:
   • is the controller and responsible for the personal data comprising the Media and your contact details and any related personal data.
   • will process the Media and your contact details and any related personal data in accordance with the privacy notice which can be found here, receipt of which you acknowledge by signing this agreement.
4. In relation to the Media, you:
   • grant the Society a non-exclusive right to record, photograph, reproduce, distribute and display the Media for the Specified Purpose to the Company; and
   • warrant, undertake and confirm to the Society that you are the sole, absolute unencumbered, legal and beneficial owner of, and owns all the rights and interests in the Media or, where you are not, have a valid and subsisting licence for the content of the Media in order to enter into and grant this media release.
5. This agreement and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
6. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation.
