Flights into Glasgow
There are regular daily flights into Glasgow from all London airports as well as Bristol, Birmingham, Dublin and Southampton. In addition, you can fly to Glasgow via Berlin, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Frankfurt, Dubai and Paris. More information on Glasgow Airport.
Trains into Glasgow
Trains from the south generally arrive into Glasgow Central station and trains from Edinburgh and the north arriving at Glasgow Queen Street station. For timetables please visit National Rail.

Advanced warning of rail disruptions
The RES and SES have teamed up with the Glasgow Convention Bureau to provide hotel options for your visit to the city. The Bureau have negotiated rates on our behalf to ensure there are competitive, local bedrooms available for our delegates.
The options available range in price and proximity to the University of Glasgow, not all city hotels are included in this service. You can book your accommodation via your own preferred website.
Airport bus
The Airport Express Service 500 runs every 15 minutes from outside the airport. The Bothwell St/Hope St bus stop drops you close to the Radisson Blu Hotel, Yotel, Virgin Hotel and Motel One as well as the Central Train Station, a number of other city centre hotels are within walking distance. Taxis
Taxis are readily available from outside Glasgow Airport and cost approximately £25.00 for a journey into the city centre. Uber also operates within the city as well as local firms.

Local public transport
On arrival in the city centre, the Subway system is the best way to travel. A map and ticketing information is available here. There are two lines: an outer circle running clockwise and an inner circle running anticlockwise. All trains stop at all stations no matter the direction and services run frequently, use this page for live updates.

Subway nearest to Radisson Blu – St Enoch
The journey time from Hillhead to Buchanan Street on the Subway is just 10 minutes. A one-day travel card is £4.20.
