The Royal Economic Society is recruiting a Digital Communications Officer and an Administration and Events Officer for Discover Economics, a campaign that aims to increase diversity among economics undergraduate students, where women, students from state schools and colleges and many minority ethnic groups are under-represented.
As a Digital Communications Officer, you will be expected to develop and deliver an effective communications strategy, identify ways to engage a broad audience as well as explore new channels and platforms to widen the organization’s reach.
As an Administration and Events Officer, you will be expected to support the development of engaging virtual and in-person outreach opportunities for school/college students delivered in partnership with key stakeholders.
Both roles will work with DE’s Campaign Manager to attract more 15–17-year-olds from under-represented groups to study economics.
