We were privileged to hear from professional economists from the public sector, private sector, and academia – sharing their valuable insights and experiences, showcasing the many paths available within the discipline.
This event was designed to inspire all students, with a particular focus on empowering underrepresented groups, especially female economics students, to explore diverse professional and academic opportunities. Attendees benefitted from engaging talks delivered by accomplished speakers who shared their personal journeys, challenges, and achievements across various sectors of the profession.
This event is sponsored by the Department of Economics, the EDI and the Teaching and Learning Teams at the School of Social Science, University of Manchester and organised in collaboration with the Royal Economic Society UK Women in Economics Network (UK WEN).
