Are you enthusiastic about economics and keen to discover the wide range of career paths it offers? Join us for an enlightening event where experienced economists from various fields share their journeys and insights, shedding light on the numerous career opportunities available in the public, private, and academic sectors.

This event aims to inspire and support all students, especially those underrepresented in economics, to explore the diverse professional and academic opportunities within the field. Attendees will benefit from engaging presentations by accomplished speakers from different backgrounds, who will share their unique perspectives on the opportunities and challenges in each sector. These talks will provide practical advice and valuable insights based on the speaker’s own career experiences. A special emphasis will be placed on gender-related challenges and opportunities, focusing on the experience of women in economics.

The event is open to all students (irrespective of their gender) of the University of Exeter. This event is sponsored by the University of Exeter Business School and the Department of Economics at the University of Exeter and organised in collaboration with the Royal Economic Society UK Women in Economics Network (UK WEN) and the University of Exeter Economics Society.
