The Royal Economic Society would like to announce that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Royal Economic Society will take place as a virtual meeting between 25-27 May 2022.
Notice of the meeting and business will be published on the website nearer the time and sent to all members at least 10 days prior to the meeting, along with instructions on how to join the meeting. If there are any matters of business that a member wishes to raise, please contact the Secretary-General by email at resoffice@res.org.uk. Matters of business must be raised by 4 May 2022.
An important item of business at the AGM is to elect Officers and Councillors for the ensuing year. The nominations of Nicholas Crafts as President for the year 2022-2023 and Chris Pissarides as President-Elect for the year 2023-2024 are subject to ratification at this meeting. The nomination of Mary Morgan as President-Elect for the year 2022-2023 was ratified at the 2021 AGM.
