Vacancy: Diversity & Inclusion Network - Steering Committee member

Applications are now open to serve as a Steering Committee member for the Diversity & Inclusion Network.

This is a voluntary role requiring a modest time commitment. Steering Committee members are expected to engage collaboratively, provide constructive input, and actively support the
Network’s objectives to promote diversity and inclusion.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the ongoing strategic direction and development of the Diversity & Inclusion Network.
  • Join 3 Steering Committee meetings per year (approximately 1h each).
  • Provide input, suggestions, and feedback for the RES Diversity and Inclusion Network’s activities and meetings.
  • Actively contribute to the delivery and success of the Network initiatives.
  • Join at least one of the RES Diversity and Inclusion Network meetings per year (currently 3 meetings per year, two online and one in person).
  • Share relevant research, information, or resources that can support the Network’s mission. Act as an advocate for improving diversity and inclusion in economics, championing these values within the discipline.
  • Leverage personal and professional networks to broaden the reach and impact of the Network’s activities.
