The Royal Economic Society is seeking to appoint a Co-opted Trustee in June 2026.
The RES Trustee Board has legal and financial responsibility for the overall governance, management, and policies of the Society, ensuring that the charitable objects for which it has been set up are met.
The Trustee Board constitutes four Honorary Officers (the President, President-elect, Honorary Treasurer, and the Chair of Trustees), three Council members and up to five co-opted members.
The core tasks and responsibilities of the role are set out in the role description. The Trustee Board has reviewed its skills and expertise and wishes to add a Board member with expertise in Higher Education economics teaching.
Applicants should submit a current curriculum vitae and a covering letter setting out relevant experience to the role and motivations for assuming the position.
