Applications are now open to serve as a Steering Committee member for the CHUDE (Conference of Heads of University Departments of Economics) Committee.
This is a voluntary role requiring a modest time commitment. This role is open to Heads of Department of Economics. Steering Committee members are expected to engage collaboratively, provide constructive input and actively support the Committee’s objectives.
The purpose of CHUDE is to support the economics discipline (including its study, teaching, promotion, and research) within UK higher education institutions. CHUDE was established in 1987 in collaboration with the (now defunct) Association of University Teachers of Economics; it is a committee of the Royal Economic Society and reports to its Executive Committee.
